Ho Chi Minh City’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has just issued criteria for assessing the level of safety for tourism activities, including assessments applicable to the operations of accommodation establishments and businesses.

For accommodation facility operations, 100% of employees in guest contact departments and people outside the facility must have received 2 doses of vaccine, within 14 days from the last injection, or have recovered from SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Guests over 18 years old must have received 2 complete vaccinations and 14 days have passed since the last vaccination or have recovered from SARS-CoV-2 infection (confirmed).

In addition, employees, visitors and guests must wear masks during working hours, must have their temperature taken before entering the accommodation facility, and encourage daily temperature measurement of guests.

Accommodation facilities need at least one isolation room and one waiting room according to health sector regulations, equipped with some spare personal protective equipment (at least 3 sets) for staff to use when needed.
